Startup2Startup is a group of Silicon Valley geeks, entrepreneurs, & investors dedicated to educating and helping the next generation of internet startups. We meet monthly over dinner to discuss relevant topics in technology & entrepreneurship, connect with new people & companies, and share our knowledge & experience.

Our primary goals are:

  • Learn about startups & technology
  • Meet promising new geeks & entrepreneurs
  • Help the next generation of startups do better
  • Eat, drink, & have fun :)

At the very least, we plan to get the last one right.

    Good luck with the project.

If you ever decide to host something in the Boston area, let me know. We have startups out here too. :)

Indeed, I’m curious if anyone has tried something like this in New York or Boston. I attended some of the New York Tech Meetups, but I bailed when the attendance broke 300 and I couldn’t handle the signal-to-noise ratio. Selectivity, whether through an application process or charging enough to ensure that the attendees are serious (though without breaking the bank), seem to be a key success factor.

Great idea. More of these events the more innovation will happen. Kudos

Any chance there is a video floating around of Mike Cassidy’s speech?

    hi Brandon -

sorry, we didn’t videotape that talk… just a short interview with him before the presentation.

however, we do hope to have more of our sessions recorded on video for publication on the website.

I second the video for publication request. I’m from out of town and would love video of the sessons!

    Thanks,
    Mike
